Using LastObject Products

What is LastSwab and how does it work?

LastSwab is a reusable alternative to the disposable cotton swab. It has soft TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) tips — one rounded tip for ears and general cleaning (Original), and one pointed tip for makeup application and precision work (Beauty). After each use, simply rinse with water and a drop of soap if needed, air dry, and it's ready to go again. The case protects the tips between uses.

Is LastSwab hygienic?

Yes. TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is non-porous, meaning bacteria cannot grow into the surface the way cotton fibres can harbour bacteria over time. A quick rinse with soap and water removes any residue, and the sealed case prevents contamination between uses. Thousands of customers have used LastSwab daily for years.

How many times can I use LastSwab?

LastSwab is built to last your lifetime with normal use. The TPE tips are extremely durable — there's no defined maximum number of uses. Each one replaces approximately 1,000 single-use cotton swabs over the course of its life.

What is the difference between LastSwab Original and Beauty?

LastSwab Original has two rounded cotton-swab-shaped tips, ideal for ear cleaning, baby care, first aid, and general household use. LastSwab Beauty has one rounded and one pointed tip — the pointed tip is designed for precise makeup application, touch-ups, and nail care. Both come in the same protective carrying case.

How do I clean and care for LastSwab?

Rinse with water after each use. For a deeper clean, use a drop of antibacterial soap and gently rub the tips between your fingers. Rinse thoroughly and leave to air dry before placing it back in its case. Do not boil or microwave. Do not use bleach or harsh solvents.

How do I wash LastRound and LastTissue?

LastRound and LastTissue are both machine washable at up to 60°C. Use any regular detergent — we recommend washing in a mesh laundry bag to keep them together. They can also be hand-washed with soap and warm water. Air dry or tumble dry on low. Both products will last hundreds of wash cycles.

What are LastObject products made of?

LastSwab tips are made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer). The rod is polypropylene reinforced with glass fiber, and the case is made from recycled plastic. LastRound and LastTissue are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. Our packaging is 100% plastic-free and FSC-certified.

Sustainability

How much plastic waste does LastSwab save?

A single LastSwab replaces approximately 1,000 single-use cotton swabs over its lifetime. Standard cotton swabs have a plastic stem and are typically not recyclable — they end up in landfill or the ocean. An independent ISO-certified Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) found that LastSwab has 8.3× less environmental impact than the equivalent number of disposable swabs.

Are your products certified?

Yes. Our organic cotton products (LastRound, LastTissue) carry GOTS certification (Global Organic Textile Standard). Our packaging is FSC certified. We have conducted ISO-compliant Life Cycle Assessments on our core products and share the results publicly. Yes — LastObject is a certified B Corporation, meeting rigorous standards for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Where are LastObject products manufactured?

LastObject products are designed in Copenhagen, Denmark and manufactured in partnership with carefully selected factories in China and India that meet our quality and ethical standards. We conduct regular factory audits and maintain long-term partnerships with our manufacturers.

Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship?

We ship to 60+ countries worldwide. Standard shipping times vary by region: 5–10 business days to the US, 3–7 days to the UK, 1–3 days within Denmark and Germany, 2–5 days across Europe. Free shipping is available on orders above a minimum order value (shown at checkout for your country).

What is your return policy?

We offer free returns within 30 days of delivery for any unused items in original packaging. If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us at hello@lastobject.com with a photo and we'll arrange a replacement or refund immediately. We do not charge restocking fees.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. If you haven't received a shipping confirmation within 3 business days of ordering, please check your spam folder or contact us at hello@lastobject.com.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders quickly, but if you contact us within 2 hours of placing your order we'll do our best to make changes or cancel before it ships. After dispatch, you can return the items under our standard return policy.

Do you offer wholesale or B2B orders?
